Privacy
How this site measures attention, stores a request, treats published work, and does not traffic in notes.
Operator: The Cleanest Setup. Correspondence via the waitlist form or @sean_________.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets first-party identifiers in localStorage: a visitor id, a session id, a first-touch record (UTM parameters, document.referrer, landing path), and a rolling log of the last fifty client events. These are used to understand which sections are read and which calls-to-action are used. They are not required to request access; blocking storage simply reduces measurement.
Analytics
A first-party script records page views, scroll depth, section views, form interaction, outbound clicks to X, and page exit (time on page, last section, maximum scroll). Events are pushed to window.dataLayer and kept locally. If a Google Analytics 4 measurement id is later configured, the same events may be forwarded to Google as aggregated analytics. Until that id is set, nothing is sent to Google. Analytics remain part of how the desk understands this site.
Retargeting and advertising pixels
Meta (Facebook) and X/Twitter pixels load only when their respective ids are configured in site settings. If enabled, they may set third-party cookies or similar identifiers and be used for measurement and retargeting of site visitors. They are off by default on this static build. Retargeting, when switched on, is limited to visitors of this marketing site — not to the contents of member research.
If you request founding access, we store the email you provide and, if given, your name, for the purpose of offering desk access and sending operational mail about The Cleanest Setup membership (daily brief, earnings previews, catalysts, writeups, and deep dives). We do not use the list for unrelated promotions. You may ask to be removed by writing from the same address. Until an external form endpoint is configured, submissions may remain only in your browser (localStorage) as a pending request.
Published work
Work distributed under The Cleanest Setup — the morning ranked brief, earnings previews, catalyst notes, company writeups, and deep dives — is original synthesis by the desk. It is not a redistribution, reprint, or scrape of broker notes, sell-side PDFs, or another desk’s color. Sample tables and specimens on this marketing site are fabricated (invented tickers such as AURX and VELN) and are labeled sample / not a recommendation. They are not live ideas and are not a substitute for your own work.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or barter raw broker notes, research reprints, or your email as a list. We do not present another firm’s memorandum as our own.
Member data
When you sign in, this static build keeps a member list in localStorage under tcs_members and a session under tcs_session. Preferences (tcs_prefs) store email-alert and desk-focus choices and a timezone. A watchlist (tcs_watchlist) stores tickers you save so they can be highlighted on the blotter. These stay on your machine unless a later server is connected. They are used to operate the member desk — not sold, not used as an advertising list.
Payments
Founding membership is billed at the published intervals ($60 week, $204 month, $585 quarter, $1,872 year). Checkout is not live until Stripe Price IDs are set. No card is collected on this build. When payments open, Stripe will process the 3-day trial then the first charge. After a paid checkout, the confirmation page may show optional partner offers via Rokt; that is off until a Rokt account is connected; this memorandum will be updated before that. Referral cash is recorded as pending or payable and paid by the operator — never automatically to a bank from this site.
Retention
Local event logs remain until you clear site data. Waitlist records, once a form endpoint is connected, will be kept only as long as the founding book is active or you ask to be deleted.
